Institutional access to apxUSD has taken an important step forward.

BitGo Adds Custodial Support for apxUSD, Expanding Institutional Access to Apyx

Apyx is proud to announce that BitGo now offers custodial support for apxUSD, the dividend-backed stablecoin. Through this partnership, institutional investors, funds, and Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs) can now access apxUSD through one of the industry’s most trusted qualified custodians, expanding Apyx’s reach into regulated financial infrastructure.

Why BitGo

BitGo isn't just any custodian. As one of the leading qualified custodians in digital assets, they secure tens of billions in digital assets for some of the most sophisticated institutions in the world. That matters because institutional participation depends not only on the design of an asset itself, but also on whether that asset can be held within infrastructure that meets demanding standards for security, compliance, reporting, and operational reliability.

Support on BitGo’s infrastructure is not granted automatically. Assets undergo a structured review process focused on security, compliance, and operational fit before they ever touch BitGo's infrastructure. apxUSD passed that bar.

What this means for the Apyx ecosystem

For institutions that have been watching Apyx from the sidelines, this removes one of the last remaining friction points. With apxUSD now available through BitGo’s qualified custody platform, institutional users can evaluate and hold it within a regulated custody framework without compromising operational or compliance standards. It also makes apxUSD easier to incorporate into mandates, treasury allocations, and fund structures that require regulated custody.

Institutional custody unlocks institutional capital. As more funds and DATs are able to hold apxUSD within compliant infrastructure, demand for yield-bearing stablecoin alternatives strengthens, and so does the foundation Apyx is building on.

From Kraken & xStocks to now BitGo, the infrastructure supporting the Apyx protocol is taking shape, and fast. Don't expect us to slow down anytime soon.
